About the event
• Who are we? We are a community that connects Japanese students with local and international students through exciting events revolving around both traditional and modern Japanese culture!
Join us for our Summer Festival Welcome Tea to:
• Experience games played during “Natsu Matsuri” (summer festival):
“Daruma Otoshi” - the unbreakable wooden man🧍♂
“Yo-Yo-Tsuri” - balloon water scooping🎈
“Katanuki” - candy carving 🍬
“Shogi” - Japanese chess ♟
Shooting Range (prizes to be won!) 🎯
• Try out signature Japanese street food sold during this season:
Takoyaki 🐙, Onigiri 🍙, Warabimochi 🍡and more 👀
• Wear Yukata and snap some photos with your friends at our photo booth! 👘
